G	Giannis Karmalis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ωραια τοποθεσια με το ποταμι του γλαυκου και τα τρεχουμενα νερα, θα μπορουσαν οι εγκαταστασεις ναχουν πιο συγχρονη οψη, να μπορει να το επισκευτει κοσμος απο πολυ κοντα ! Επισης λειπει μια ταμπελα να εξηγει πως δουλευει ο υδροηλεκτρικος σταθμος ! Nice location with the river Glafkos and the running water, the facilities could have a more modern look, so that people can visit it from very close! Also a sign is missing to explain how the hydroelectric station works!

Τα σημεία που το κάνουν να ξεχωρίζει είναι φυσικά το φράγμα, το ποτάμι και η φύση γενικότερα στη γύρω περιοχη. Φυσικά στη διαδρομή η θέα της πόλης είναι εντυπωσιακή. Μπορεί κάποιος να περπατήσει δίπλα στο ποτάμι για μερικές δεκάδες μέτρα και να δει ένα μικρό καταρράκτη. Σε ότι αφορά το φράγματων, η πρόσβαση βέβαια απαγορεύεται, όμως ανεβαίνοντας στο διπλανό λόγο, μπορείς να το δεις από ψηλά, χωρίς βέβαια να είναι κάτι ιδιαίτερα εντυπωσιακό. Καλό θα ήταν να υπήρχε μια ενημέρωση για την ιστορία του φράγματος. Η πρόσβαση ως εκεί είναι σε ασφαλτωστρομένο δρόμο. The location is suitable for a short excursion from the city of Patras. The places that make it stand out are of course the dam, the river and the nature in general in the surrounding area. Of course along the way the view of the city is impressive. One can walk by the river for a few tens of meters and see a small waterfall. As far as the dams are concerned, the access is of course forbidden, but going up to the next floor, you can see it from above, without of course being something particularly impressive. It would be good to have an update on the history of the dam. Access there is on a paved road.

You need to look for this sign alongside the road....paved road to the facility...with the water pool. If you stop to wonder the river...you could see this in the forest also....
