★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We rented a car in Heraklion. The representative arrived early to meet us at the hotel and hand us the keys. The car was a cute little Peugeot. Clean and with a full tank of gas. Drop off at the airport was also smooth.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ To be honest, I doubted a bit about the rating in the beginning: 5 out of 5? Isn’t it too good? But still I went through all the reviews and decided to give it a try. It turned out to be a very good decision. The price is good and the rental experience is by far the best among all that I’ve had. We arrived at Heraklion port early at 6:30 a.m. and Argyrakis was already waiting there with the car. Pickup was very efficient and smooth. Argyrakis also gave quite some useful advices on what to explore in Crete and the best practice. The car itself (fiat tipo automatic) is in good condition and very spacious for us two. Return was also easy. Argyrakis waited us at Heraklion airport departure. I had quite some awful experience before with big car rental companies, but Go Rent a Car experiences really wowed me: it’s an easy car rental from a nice and enthusiastic local guy with helpful advices instead of only getting a car from a poker face behind the desk. Super recommended!

It was so easy to set up that I worried that it was a scam, but he showed up at our hotel with the rental car exactly on time, completed the paperwork, and we were on the road in 15 minutes. Turning it in was just as easy. No nickel and diming, no hidden fees. Best car rental experience I've had. Highly recommended.
