★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely gorge...open we walked all the way throught. Definitely a very good gorge for the beginners. Short easy to walk... Now no water...in winter possibly will have. Some spots really nice for nature photography. Peaceful place . Pay a visit , only few kilometres away from Chania. Around an hour you will need to walk the gorge and go back to the village.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great walk from Zourva down to Meskla. Winds through the gorge by track and then single track and then, in late March, you even have to do some river wading to finish, good fun!

Nice and impressive walk.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Short but nice gorge, worth the visit. There's a 3km round route that you can walk, lovely views of the nearby mountains when you go up from the gorge. But the gorge is at the very beginning of the walk, in case you want to just see that! You can park by the church close to Taverna Halaris and walk from there along the road, about 5 minutes.
