Wow. It exceeded our expectations. My 6 year old commented that the staff treat you like kings and queens! They really are super helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. Our stay (first week of school holidays) was peaceful, always space in the restaurant, no trouble getting sun beds. Everywhere was super clean and any issues we had got dealt with immediately. I even commented the beds were a bit hard and a mattress topper was provided straight away. The views from all of the rooms are lovely. We had a ground floor room which I would recommend requesting as you get a small patio area and it's easy to access bars and pools from. Sissi is a pleasant 20 min walk or 6 euro taxi and is a gorgeous little harbour. No noisynightlife just relaxed and classy. We (16, 13, 6 years) and myself loved it oh and the sports team were great with my son's too. I want to go back!

Very nice staff, unfortunately clearly understaffed at the moment. Food is ok, nothing too fancy but decent. Should have stated that the spa is closed due to covid though, bit disappointed.

We stayed for 5 nights (with a 1 year old) The hotels location makes it feel a bit exlusive and private. Great variety of food but some daily dishes was just too salty (eg. the omelette). The resturant and bar staff gave excellent service (I give 5 stars to them). Some advice for new guests. Compare taxi fairs with at least one external company if you want to save a few euros. My experience is that booking through the hotel costs a bit more. Guests with babies. Ask for a room on ground floor. The elevators are very old and doesnt work from time to time. For gym folks. Dont have any expectations. Its basically just a room with air condition. Go for a hike instead or swim, but not on windy days cause the life guard will whistle at you non stop =p

Extraordinary service, cozy private beach, great food. Few tips to make your vacation perfect: - buy water shoes (local store has it for 10 euros, which is not bad) as the sea is a bit rocky - there is not much around the hotel, it is 30 min walk away from the closest town, so if you want to see more of Crete, consider renting a car - decent internet is available only in the common areas, so we bought local SIMs with data (Vodafone: 1 month unlimited data for 10 euros)

Nice and quiet place, good food, large variety of dishes. For sure you will find a plate for you. A bit tough matrasses)) but per general a good place to stay and relax. There is sand on the beach despite a rocky island. However you will need special shoes if you wanna go in the water. To many stones will make your feet cry.

Exceptional service! Thank you for hospitality, smiles, great food, and covering all our needs! Despite the fact it's not the best hotel for kids in terms of variety of activities, our 4-year old daughter had a lot of fun in kids-club, family disco and swimming in beautiful sea. Special kudos to: Svetlana - Guest Relations Manager, Sofia - beach bar bartender, and Baywatch man (sorry don't know his name). Giving 4 for the rooms only for reason that we were missing small stuff like: cotton buds / pads, hair conditioner, bed mattress was too soft, but the hillside view was amazing.

Looking to relax this is the place. Staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly yet not intrusive. Food and drink both good quality and variety. Walks along the coast to left and right to nearby tavernas, archaeological sights or town. WiFi could be more resilient.

Cons: The rooms are awful. Poor maintenance, tiny and cheap furniture, and I'm not even taking into account the high price. The beach isn't a beach, it's a bit of scrubland with some stones placed in some areas, the sea is dirty. Pros: The reception area, the restaurant, the pool and general common areas are of a good standard and the staff very friendly.
