★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Guter Kundenservice. Die Beratung sowie Erreichbarkeit waren auf Kreta sehr gut. Es erfolgte eine schnelle Übergabe sowie kurze Einweisung ans neue Fahrzeug und die Kommunikation erfolgte auf deutsch.
 Good customer service. The advice and accessibility were very good in Crete. There was a quick handover and brief instruction on the new vehicle and communication was in German.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Снимали 2 машины, все отлично и поставил бы 5 но машины сильно дефорсированны, в Агиос Николаос, с его горками не мог тронуться в горку большую... машина на полном газу не ехало, что и не прибавляло комфорта. а так, оооочень приветливый хозяин и девушка которая по русски говорит) что облегчает общение!
They rented 2 cars, everything was fine and would have put 5 but the cars were greatly derated, in Agios Nikolaos, with his slides he could not move uphill ... the car did not go at full throttle, which did not add comfort. and so, sooooo friendly host and a girl who speaks Russian) which facilitates communication!

Nice, clean cars. Prices okay and fair fuel regulations. The employee even spoke German and explained everything to us in a very friendly manner. Always my pleasure.

При оформлении в офисе задепонировали 350 евро с кредитной карты на случай повреждения. Через 2 недели деньги вернулись. Русскоговорящего персонала нет, но женщина-менеджер любезно переводила интересующие нас нюансы через интернет - переводчика.
Booked a car over the Internet, for three days, six thousand and a little rubles. Relatively inexpensive. Machines in good condition. At check-in, the office deposited 350 euros from a credit card in case of damage. After 2 weeks, the money returned. There is no Russian-speaking staff, but the female manager has kindly translated the nuances of interest through an Internet translator.

בסופ"ש הקודם טסנו לכרתים 6 בני אדם מבוגרים. הזמנו מראש שני רכבים מסוג פז'ו 208 כדי שנוכל לשכן אנשים גם מאחורה וכדי שהרכב יצליח לסחוב את הכבישים של כרתים (הרבה עליות וירידות תלולות). כשהגענו לאסוף את הרכבים בעיר חרסוניסוס חיכו לנו שני רכבי פיאט 500c כ"שדרוג" כי ה208 לא היה במלאי. עכשיו, אני לא יודע מה אתכם, אבל איך בדיוק אפשר להכניס אנשים מאחורה? איך אפשר לדחוף לבגאז' הזעיר שלה מזוודות? הבענו את מחאתנו מול נציגת השירות של הרץ, וזו בתגובה אמרה שאין אף רכב אחר מאותה קטגוריה והציעה "לשדרג" אותנו בסכום "סמלי" של 120 יורו לרכב אחד מסוג Toyota CHR (נאלצנו להיתקע עם הפיאט השני). מאחר והיינו לחוצים בזמן וכבר בזבזנו מספיק זמן, הסכמנו להצעה. מיותר לציין שהפיאט שלקחנו אכן בקושי סחבה (והיו בה בסך הכל שני מבוגרים) ואלמלא היינו משלמים את האקסטרא כסף על הטויוטה, הטיול שלנו היה הופך לסיוט.
בתום הטיול הגשתי תלונה לחברה וביקשתי לקבל זיכוי על תוספת השדרוג על הטויוטה - שכן במצב נורמלי לא היו תוקעים אותנו עם שתי קופסאות סרדינים - זו אחריות של החברה לדאוג למלאי רכבים סביר כדי לעמוד בדרישות של לקוחותיה - ונעניתי בסירוב.
חשוב לציין שאני טיפוס שמאוד לא ממהר לעשות שיימינג לחברות, אני לא "מחפש בקטנות" ולרוב לא מתלונן. אך לאור ההתנהגות עזת המצח של הרץ אני ממליץ לכם לחשוב פעמיים לפני שאתם עושים עסקים עם החברה הזו. אני יותר לא אשכיר מהם.

This is a strong recommendation for the Hertz car rental company -
Last weekend we flew 6 older people to Crete. We pre-booked two Peugeot 208 vehicles so that we could also accommodate people in the back and so that the vehicle could carry the roads of Crete (many steep ascents and descents). When we arrived to pick up the vehicles in the city of Hersonissos two Fiat 500c vehicles as an "upgrade" because the 208 was not in stock. Now, I do not know what you guys are, but how exactly can you put people in the back? That there is no other car in the same category and offered to "upgrade" us for a "token" amount of 120 euros for one Toyota CHR (we had to get stuck with the other Fiat). (And there were a total of two adults in it) and if we had not paid the extra money for the Toyota, our trip would have become a nightmare.
At the end of the trip I filed a complaint with the company and asked for a credit for the extra upgrade on the Toyota - since in normal case we would not be stuck with two boxes of sardines - it is the company's responsibility to take care of reasonable vehicle inventory to meet its customers' requirements.
It is important to note that I am a type who is not in a hurry to do shaming for friends, I do not "look small" and usually do not complain. But in light of Hertz's bold behavior I recommend you think twice before doing business with this company. I will no longer rent from them.
