★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place for training and relaxing. The gym could use refurbishment, but the pool is very nice. Very expensive accessories for the swimming, don’t forget to bring your own swim cap.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is an amazing, amazing gym. I've worked out all over the world and very few gyms have this level of service and diversity of offerings at an affordable price. You can get a weekly pass for 50 euros or a month for 80. Towel service, excellent lap pool, classes included. The staff is friendly and I felt really at home here. It's especially hard to find a gym with a decent pool and Holmes Place delivers. 4 lanes, perfect water, respectful swimmers, nice music, great vibe. The workout rooms are spacious, never too crowded, and have good quality equipment. There are plenty of all the cardio machines. I didn't take classes but there were tons on the schedule. Especially nice - there is a small cafe serving coffee and healthy snacks in case you need refreshments. Highly recommended, well done guys!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have had a good experience with Holmes place, pre -COVID. Different branch though.
On this occasion I booked a massage. I emphasized when I booked that I will need to take a shower afterwards. I was told that 'that is no problem'.
I arrive today. The (very) young lady at the Spa reception says that there is no provision for leaving my things in a safe place - unless I have my own locker. So...I left. I think every decent business has a manager who should be contacted when problems arise.
For €70 for a massage, yes, I would expect a better service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great fully-featured gym with a pool, steam room, myriad group classes (including Pilates, yoga and spin) and excellent personal trainers. It’s a bit pricier compared to the alternatives in the centre, but worth it (especially given how difficult it is to get access to a decent pool in the centre of Athens).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The use of the swimming pool is practically impossible if you're there just for the swimming. Minimum 1/4, often 2/4 lane(s) occupied for various programms. A further lane for the elderly. Remaining lanes packed (up to 4! people allowed according to their regulation apparently), often with floaters. You really must be lucky or make several attempts a day, if you want to pull off a 30' training.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Its a good gym for tourists. Its easy to find because its very close to the plaka, the center of athens. The price for one day is 20 euro and you also have to have a lock for the locker in the changing room, which is 6 euro if you buy it there. The pool is only accessible with a bathing cap which costs 17 euro. You dont have to bring your own towels because they will lend them to you for free. The gym itself is well equipped, it has many different machines and dumbells and there is space for calisthenics exercises too. Its definitely a good place to train for a few hours.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been a member for a number of years. It's a good gym and centrally located. It's usually very clean. I do not speak fluent Greek so I can't say whether the staff is rude or not. I really haven't had any problems. If I don't understand something especially when renewing my yearly membership, I ask until it's clear. Do they have a little attitude? Maybe. But I'm there to exercise not chat with the front desk. Half the people there do exercise while the other half do nothing other than look at their phones the entire time. Yes, the fees for using a trainer are high. I've seen higher in other cities. It is what it is.

So helpful even when it’s so busy , they were able to smile and attend to everyone .. especially the one lady army (vorinca) .
The gym is well equipped , clean and provide towels.
They may ask you to buy a mask from them , in case your mask was not approved by the gym (the mask cost 1 euro )
They have one day pass and weekly pass .. I got the weekly pass which cost (50 euro which is fair for the service they provide ).
