Serita Beach Hotel Crete - Beach Road

Lovely hotel, very friendly staff. Service 7 out of 10. Good facilities especially the 3 specialty restaurants. Hotel is in slightly isolated position. Beach is stony and small but only just over the road from the hotel. Would recommend for couples and families, downside, lots of steps for the less able

Staff so helpful and friendly, the staff seemed to speak every language also. Food was good and lots of activities avaliable

Once we arrived, the Bell-boy smiled at us and took our luggages, we already felt comfortable, he's a very kind and good guy name Panagotis, The Reception man is kind and nice aswell, the food is great with plenty of options and also 3 different Restaurants near the pool, there is a really big pool, also the hotel is always clean, the Rooms are big but the Showers and Wifi slow.. There are 2 big bars with a professional Barmaids, Sakis and Maria are great! There's a Creperie near the pool with many tasty Desserts? There is a gaming center for kids and 3 big snooker tables, the service made our vacation! We enjoyed much and will recommend and come back for sure!

Very nice hotel, atmosphere was great, staff from the nice gentleman at the reception to the cleaners super nice team. Only the animation team was a disappointment, they want to keep all the guests happy and afterwards blaspheme in girech language about them! Especially the head of the animation group and the staff (both with the names Al...)is mean!!!!

"It’s not a party place, but a peaceful and friendly hotel for families with children" I subscribe to this remark. We had a family bungalow for 7 nights at Serita Beach Hotel and we spend a nice and relaxing vacation ( as much as possible with 2 children's :) ) I can't and I will not judge if is a 5* hotel but for us: food was various and tasty, drinks OK even if only local ones (no international), cleanliness was more than OK, room big enough (some investments are needed to replace some old things inside), facilities offered were OK for us and the staff was for sure 5*. The beach was not what we were looking for, but 5 min away you find a large and sandy beach where children can play For sure if we will choose Crete again, Serita Beach Hotel will be a choice for us, so we can only recommend this place, especially for families. It's a nice hotel with very friendly staff paying attention to their guests. The rooms are clean and ok, but rather small. The food is great, although not always as warm as expected. Located a bit outside, renting a car is recommended as there is not too much to do close by. Take a walk along the seaside and you'll find some evening restaurants, two supermarkets and water sports. Overall a pricey, but nice place for a holiday stay.

Our stay in Serita Beach was great - we visited Crete in October, the weather and water temperature was not super warm, so I advise you to come here earlier - in summer or September. The rooms are indeed a bit shabby, but we needed them just to sleep and take a shower, so it wasn’t such a big problem, but cleaning could be better, especially areas under beds and other furniture. I also didn’t like that the bottoms of the curtains were wrapped in plastic, it doesn’t look nice. All inclusive was worth it, I just expected more seafood as Crete is an island, but there was more meat and sausage, it was quite tasty. The lunch-evening restaurants are so good, I recommend you booking them as soon as you arrive (you can do it at the reception), so that you can enjoy the food there. Italian restaurant is the best! I also liked the activities there - table tennis, darts, volleyball, fitness etc. Another great thing here is crepe point near the pool with ice cream, drinks and desserts. The territory is very beautiful and perfect for family time. There’s no beach right at the hotel, but it’s quite close (~5 minutes) to another sandy beach and the road to the beach is nice and also you can walk there by the shore. Well definitely come here again! It’s not a party place, but a peaceful and friendly hotel for families with children.
