Hotel Marmaras - Trikoupi

It is in a great place, with a beautiful sea view. The center is close, but the noise is not heard, so you sleep comfortably. However, the mattresses are uncomfortable, the springs feel, so we put all the blankets over them. In front of the hotel is a small pebble beach, which can be used if you are not in the mood to visit others. We are accommodated here (August 2021) via TA "Barcino tours". I think that this agency has been "holding" the villa "Marmaras" for many years. We are very satisfied with the representative of the agency - Dušanka (Duda), who tries to eliminate the faults that occur as soon as possible and quickly answers all your questions. A big complaint is the poor hygiene of the kitchen, but that criticism primarily refers to previous guests who leave a mess behind. This, however, is not a hotel in the true sense, but apartments for rent. In addition to this, we found a neglected toilet. I do not mean the visible part of the sink and toilet, but behind and below them. The shower tray is old with limescale deposits, cracked and "ripe" for replacement. There is no shower curtain, so the whole bathroom is wet after showering. After the 7th day, the main drain was clogged, so our bathroom was almost flooded. This is already a big minus for a travel agency, because the prices of accommodation are too high in relation to the quality. Last year (2020), the borders were closed for tourists due to the covid-19 virus, so this year, until the beginning of the tourist season, there was more than enough time to put the facility in order to receive guests. The attached photos speak for themselves. I'm sorry that I had to take off the stars (lower the grade), after all the inconveniences I experienced.
