Hotel Nydri Beach

Not very good beach, but it's okay, can't expect anything from city beach, lot of boats and people, water is dirty afternoon because of the watersports.. But you can find wild beaches nearby which are far better...

It has a restaurant beach and small apartments. BUT There is no parking since the other owners don't allow the hotel tpurists to park. They give you a diacount on a near parking for 14 € a day. The restaurant is nice. At the beach sometimes you have to pay 3 € per person if you want to sit and relax. The room has beds that are similar to sleeping on rocks the pillow is so not stuffed that it wouldn't make a difference if there was not a pillow and air conditioning cost 6€ a day.

The Paxos family that run this hotel are some of the kindest people you will ever meet. The hotel is always clean and welcoming , great breakfast and stunning views of the sea from front rooms and the mountains from the rear facing rooms. Highly recommended.

We were truly happy with our stay at Nydri Beach Hotel in the first week of September 2020. Dimitris, our host, is very amiable and helpful person, being 24/7 hours at the service of his guests. I couldn't find out when he could ever rest at all :) He provided us with an excellent room, having two-directions view, at the upper level, exactly what I wanted. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the room had two connected wide balconies - one facing directly the sea and the other with a side view. So, day after day we enjoyed amazing views over the bay with all those beautiful islands spread around. You can sit there with a glass of cold white wine, or if you prefer to just meditate ... you don't need anything else to feel complete! It would be our greatest pleasure to get back to Nydri Beach Hotel one day, as long as the Kovid madness is removed.

This year was our third visit to Nidri Beach Hotel within a six year period. We travel over from the island of Kefalonia, where we have a holiday home as we enjoy staying in the resort of Nidri from time to time. Nidri is so accessible and offers everything on your doorstep, which is a welcome break from Kefalonia - where we are forced to even drive to the local mini-market! The hotel is perfectly located: a stone’s throw from the centre and the port, yet it isn’t noisy. We are able to leave our car in Fiscardo and just come across as foot passengers. The hotel is family owned. Dimitri and his sister Efi were the kindest owners from the onset. We love spending time with them and coming back to see them. They make the hotel such a pleasant environment; nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are modern, clean and comfortable and offer pleasant views. They have amenities such as an iron, ironing board, a fridge, shampoo, hairdryer and a nice bathroom with a shower that doesn’t drench the floor! The best thing is that the hotel backs onto the beach and has its own little patch of beach. The hotel bar/canteen serves that part of the beach where you can get food / drinks and ice cream all day and enjoy the wonderful views. If you have children, the water sports are right beside the hotel: our 11-year-old son entertained himself with the canoes and also tried the paragliding while we relaxed on hotel beach front. We would not hesitate recommending Nidri Beach to anyone wanting a small, friendly and accessible hotel to stay in. It’s perfect for families and those who are disabled too (as there are some ground floor rooms which I am sure can be requested).

Perfect location! The hotel is cozy and charming. If you are looking for a Four Seasons wellness retreat, this is not your hotel. BUT, if you are looking for a kind, small, charming, VERY CLEAN, authentic Greek hotel with a big heart and a place where the staff is as kind as can be, this is your place! Also, the hotel is literally at the beach.

This little hotel is simple, clean, and comfortable. The staff is kind and everything necessary is provided. Location is perfect, right on the quiet part of the beach. They have a snack bar / breakfast room on the beach, with loungers outside. We visited in early May and the weather was somewhat cold, with rain showers, so didn’t sunbathe or swim, but it looks like it would be very nice for that. Overall we love the Hotel Nydri Beach.

Very nice hotel. Clean rooms, good location- private beach with sunbeds and umbrellas near the grocery, atm, main street. Our room had a great view to the mountains, but there are rooms with sea view. Very nice host. Breakfast on the terrace, near the see.
