E	Eléonore Pierre on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I needed a place to stay for one night after a night flight. There is an attempt to keep the hotel clean. The bathroom where I stayed was full of hair. I wouldn't stay longer than necessary.

P	Pebbles The Travelling Pug on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff are INCREDIBLY rude. Checked in yesterday and was only acknowledged by the young lady working at reception. The lady who actually did the check in barely uttered two words to us as she checked in with a phone to her ear screaming at somebody. I could still hear her screaming from our first floor room! The hotel is advertised as dog friendly but on trying to take our very small dog to breakfast were told she wasn’t allowed, but also wasn’t allowed to be left in the room alone so we would have to alternate. This is the first time in 7 weeks in Crete, 3 weeks in Santorini and 1 week in Mykonos that our dog has EVER been refused anywhere. We have previously been allowed to take her everywhere in dog friendly hotels, in restaurants and bars and even shops!! I struggle to understand why places bother being pet friendly if you can’t take your pet anywhere. To top it off, the person informing me of this spoke broken English so essentially ended up shouting at me. The rooms are small and outdated, as are the bathrooms. The only saving grace of this place is the location, which is great and the sole reason we booked to stay here. Wouldn’t recommend, there are far nicer places in Heraklion!

C	Christian Freundorfer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Olympic Hotel is a nice hotel in the city center of Heraklion. My wife, little sons (11 months old and 3 years old) stayed there for one night. The staff was gentle and attentive and the complementary breakfast was also ok! Next to the hotel there is a bus stop (direct transfer harbor and/or airport) and the beginning of the main shopping street. There you'll find a lot of shops and restaurants. One point is deducted as the rooms are rather old (however everything was clean) and the WIFI was not working that well. All in all we had a great time and we would stay at Olympic Hotel again.

D	Daniel González on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice hotel. Large room, everything feels a bit old, but still comfy. It's impossible to park in the surrounding, you have to park in a parking that costs 8 euros for the whole day.
S	Sean Devine on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The location is excellent, staff is nice, breakfast is adequate, the only "complaint" is there is no pool. Overall great value. We will be coming back to Crete and we will return to this hotel, the location alone makes it 5 stars. Side note - Originally we had a room without any view or TV, we were very disappointed, however the staff was kind enough to upgrade us to a room with a TV and a view which was highly appreciated - it made all the difference for our trip. Thank you!
