Hotel Palmyra - Desila 9

Lovely hotel very clean and modern. Breakfast not the usual Greek. Lots of choice. Brilliant location right in centre of town. 2 minutes from the sea. Would definitely return.

Very clean hotel. Bar is empty but maybe because it is not high-season yet. Breakfast is not very good. Could be improved. It's 30 degreese, please give is more cold drinks! Only water en really cheap orange juice available. About the rooms, we where staying in room #230. This room is extreamly noisy. Like there is no door in the room. You could literally hear everything little thing said on the hallway. If they offer you this room, for the sake of your holiday. Do not accept it.

Visited once to the hotel, never again. Sunbeds just plastic not comfortable at all, my husband enjoyed the breakfast very tasty & staff very helpful in kitchen,. Few complaints but nothing was done to rectify situation (ie room looking over the waste bins, vents smell from kitchen when cooking. When visiting Argassi again would definitely try another hotel as for the service we received.

Very nice, modern hotel, staff and service in really high level, loads of choices for breakfast, pool is cleaned every day morning, close to the beach and local restaurants!

Great location with good restaurants in the area. Spacious room with large bathroom. Well equipped and very clean. Highly recommended. All of the receptionists were very nice - thank you!

Hotel Palmyra is a fantastic and modern hotel, far surpassing the others in the local area. The beds were very comfortable, the room is spacious and the whole hotel is very clean. It is also within walking distance of the beach and the My Tours office, who offer some very reasonably priced tours of the island (in my opinion, essential if you do not have a car). I would like to give special praise to the cleaners who were very efficient and did a fantastic job of cleaning the room whenever we needed them to.

A great hotel! I visited Zakynthos on a whim and booked the day before arriving. I was kindly greeted by Alexandra at reception who was incredibly helpful. Not only that, but over my few days she was the most accommodating and friendly individual, providing me with great tips about the island and even authentic Greek foods to try on my travels across the island. I felt really at home and felt like I'd made a friend too! - She is incredible! The hotel itself was always spotlessly clean. And even when I'd left my room in a rush (and a bit of a mess) I arrived back later on with everything cleaned and organised too! The breakfast was the same each day, but very tasty so I was more than happy! The Palmyra restaurant opposite was also great with true Greek food and great hospitality once again! The setting of the hotel is also great, my room looked over a garden of lemon trees and mountains, and the odd sound of chickens in the distance was really relaxing. I'm not usually one for repeating holidays, but I already can't wait to revisit Zakynthos and the Palmyra hotel again! The people are just so welcoming!!
