Hotel Perissa - Main Street

Nice friendly family owned business , there are no sea views theres one pool but the pool was deep and kept cleaned with fresh water to swim in. We stayed for 6 days, there are lots of cats hanging around they don't bother you, it was a quiet stay, beds weren't comfortable at all room was basic but you get what you pay for for sure. Clean towels are delivered daily. it's about a 25 min drive to the popular town Fira . And about about a 5 min drive to the blacks beach.

Very nice hotel for your reasonable price. It has very nice pool and environment. The staff were really friendly and nice.

The people who work here have horrible attitudes, you can tell the pool hasn’t been clean for months, everything is filthy here. There are also too many cats just roaming around for you to enjoy a vacation. Everything is small and crammed together. The food isn’t the best quality, the drinks are not good, the ac in the room doesn’t work well, the television has a poor connection jus like the wifi. If you are looking for a great and relaxing vacation please do yourself a favor and do not book here

Awful hotel, we were greeted horribly by the host he wanted 20 euro for the shuttle that brought us to the hotel when specified on booking.com it is meant to be for free he did not even greet us properly but wanted €20 euros straight away. Okay we may have had a bad start but you know it can happen so we still kept our hopes high. We entered the room it was absolutely horrible the room we stayed in had dust and dirt on the floor the fridge had literally rusted the bathroom was just unbearable. There were literally yellow stains on the toilet seats thats how dirty it was. The beds were rock hard the lights were not functioning properly we could not stand it we only stayed a night and book a new hotel immediately. The only one thing that was decent was the pool but the rest was absolutely disgusting.

?About Location, is just close by a supermarket, best gyros in the town, bus stop in front of the hotel to go to Thira or to the beach. You could also reach the beach by walk in 15 mins. ?? clean & neat eveb though it might not be noticeable at first but it’s nice and clean, daily cleaning and changing towels is a proof of it. ??‍♂️it’s a family managing hotel, the elders sometimes have difficulty to communicate in English, but they’re friendly, and also helpful staff. ?‍♀️ has a great pool, clean and open air and has a bar close by if you want to order something. ? ?my room was enormous with a view of beach from one side and pool another side. Full of light and fresh air. Just The water wasn’t hot, but notvalso cold. As the weather was still warm by the end of September. It wasn’t a big issue. (My friend got a room in a modern part of hotel and hat hot water). The place worths it anyway and I really enjoyed my residence here ???‍♀️

DO NOT BOOK HERE!! I booked a 7 night stay here recently for me and my family and 2 people couldn’t make it. Although we paid for a big room the hotel staff decided to give us a smaller room with the air con that doesn’t work. After complaining about the room and the size. The reception started to aggressively talk to herself in her own language. We were given keys to the new apartment.. which again felt like a let down as there were stains on the bed sheets one being blood stains. The air con once again didn’t work. We couldn’t bare the heat during the day and night. I have a 2 year old and he struggled most of the night due to lack of sleep we ended up opening the balcony door.. little did we know we ended up with bites all over us when we woke up the next day. The room smelt.. bathroom was filthy.. kitchenette doors and vessels were sticky and dirty. The list goes on. The next day we went out for the day before doing that we complained about the air con which we were told it will be looked into and when we got back it looked like the house keeper was around. When doing a spot check.. the sheets were still the same as the same stains were in each bed. Next to the bed the dirt was collected from god knows how long. The air con wasn’t fixed and we yet again didn’t sleep at all. We ended up staying here for 3 nights and booked ourselves another hotel as we didn’t want to go back early or ruin our holiday even more. Please do not book here as you won’t be looked after!!! I would give this place 0 stars.

It is a nice place, swimming pool, not crowded and big areas for parking and other activities at a very reasonable price. I enjoyed my stay there with my wife. There is a Supermarket and grill house nearby. Perissa beach is a walking distance. I would like to return again on this Hotel in my future travel. Highly recommended for a budget concious traveller. Very simple small village, bar closes at 10pm, thebad thing is that the check out is at 10 am, the pool is very big and nice and close to bus stop, supermarket sklavenitis and local food restaurant.
