Μέσα σεέναν ευρύχωρο κήπο, με το λιθόκτιστο ισόγειο και την τοξωτή σκάλα, τον όροφο από τσατμά που ακουμπά στο τείχος, το λοξότμητο εξωτερικό σαχνισί και τη γυμνόστηθη καλλονή στην οροφή της μεγάλης αίθουσας, είναι τυπικό δείγμα για μια ομάδα τέτοιων σπιτιών, για πάντα χαμένων The Pasha-Kalo mansion, now owned by the Tsekoura family, is the only surviving example of a mansion inside the Castle. Ήταν το «Σαράι του Καλού Πασά». Κτίστηκε τον 18ο αιώνα από τον Χατζή Αχμέτ (Μεχμέτ) Πασά αλλά πήρε το όνομα του από τον γιό το, Μεχμέτ Β΄, τον επονομαζόμενο και «Καλό Πασά», βαλή των Ιωαννίνων την περίοδο 1762-1775. Αργότερα και μετά την απελευθέρωση της πόλης μας το κτίριο πέρασε στην κυριότητα Ελλήνων ιδιοκτητών, χαρακτηρίστηκε διατηρητέο και φυσικά… αφέθηκε να καταρρεύσει. Στο «σαράι του Καλού Πασά» διαδραματίστηκαν πολλά από τα τραγικά γεγονότα, τις ίντριγκες και τις δολοφονίες που συνέβησαν στην πόλη μας το δεύτερο μισό του 18ου αιώνα. Ένα λουτρό αίματος, μεταξύ των μελών της ίδιας οικογένεια, που ως στόχο είχε την εξουσία της πόλης μας.
