Am Telefon wirkte Herr Manos aber sehr nett, daher am Besten vorab per Telefon informiere Unfortunately, no one was to be found on site, despite the stated opening times. So we couldn't rent a bike. Hij is een mtb expert en kent alle wegen en paden van Kreta, hij heeft goede materialen en de kennis en kunde om deze te onderhouden en eventueel onderweg te fiksen. Let goed op de moeilijkheidsgraad die op de site staat omschreven en overschat jezelf niet. Level active is voor veel NL bikers al behoorlijk uitdagend maar wel heel gaaf. Het was erg warm toen wij gingen fietsen. Neem veel water mee. Onderweg stopt Manos bij bevriende cafés en restaurants om koffie, water en een kleine snack te nemen (althans wel toen wij reden) en heb je tijd om even op adem te komen. De actie, de bikes, de natuur, de temperatuur en de geweldige omgeving en niet te vergeten gids Manos is echt een omritje waard. Ga dit doen! Are you looking for action during your Crete holiday and do you like mountain biking, then look no further and book a trip with Manos from Joyride. He is a MTB expert and knows all the roads and paths of Crete, he has good materials and the knowledge and skills to maintain them and possibly fix them along the way. Pay close attention to the difficulty level described on the site and do not overestimate yourself. Level active is already quite challenging for many NL bikers, but very cool. It was very hot when we went cycling. Take plenty of water with you. Along the way Manos stops at friendly cafes and restaurants to have coffee, water and a small snack (at least when we were driving) and you have time to catch your breath. The action, the bikes, the nature, the temperature and the great environment, not to mention guide Manos, is really worth a detour. Go do this!
H	Hello. It's me. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent Experience We were lucky and Manos let us join a 40km tour 1000m up the mountains on really really short notice. From the start we felt that we're in the best hands for a tour like that. He provided us with high quality bikes in mint condition. We got all the gear we needed and the bikes were prepared to our individual needs. As soon as we hit the road we knew that we're in Manos backyard. I guess he knows each stone there by name. The uphill part was pretty challenging and he checked our skill level individually on the way. So before going down some trickier parts he gave us very thorough instructions and took care of the beginners in the group. Manos is a very pleasant guy and we enjoyed our conversations at lunch break and at the end of the tour while having a beer. We really had the best experience we could have imagined that day. We'll be back!
