★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Taverne Dolphin has a special atmosphere, the owners, 2 brothers have a great way of treating their costumers and make them feel very welcome. Also their plates are delicious and traditional.

Simple, natural and lovingly family-run, small tavern. Functionally equipped. Right on the wide sandy beach. Children have plenty of space to play here. Unfortunately, there is pebble in the surf. But there are bath slippers for that.
Some buildings in the neighborhood no longer look so nice. But here, at Nikos Family, everything is absolutely OK.
There are places on earth everything is still in order.
Cafe-Taverna-Dolphin is one of them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Real and fantastic Cretan food. Nikos is a very hostile and very sympathic person who wants you to have a nice time at his tavern. He also has free sunbeds which can be used. We went to Nikos place everyday and the food was always amazing! Big portions!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great restaurant just 5 minutes walk from the Fodele Beach resort. They happily took on our party of 27 people and were fantastic. The views from here of the beach are unreal. A true gem of a find.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic place! Great food and wonderful owner. Souvlaki are a must! Owner's grandfather's recipe, to die for! They're right on the beach with free sun loungers. Came for lunch, stayed till the sunset. Highly recommend.
