★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For a magnificent view of the Cretan Sea, and flawless authentic Cretan food, there are very few places on the island that do it better. This family exemplifies the Cretan way of kindness to visitors and honoring the traditional way families prepare food here. We cannot recommend this comfortable, inexpensive, and dedicated taverna on the sea in Fodele strongly enough.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Traditional Greek cuisine deliciously and well prepared. Their specialty Antichristo ( lamb roasted next to hot coals) is beyond description. Moist and succulent. Spectacular sea side view. Excellent service and they follow all the rules for sanitizing areas due to Covid19 safe guards. Dimitri and Stella are wonderful host.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A convenient place located right next to the route if you don't want to make a huge detour when driving. As the previous reviews mentioned already, the view is absolutely stunning, directly onto the sea. We had a Greek salad & a moussaka, both were fine but not exceptional. The service was friendly and an effort was made to make a card payment possible, since we didn't have cash with us. All in all the atmosphere & the views made up for the food ?
