★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Der kleine Pfad nach oben ist zwar nur ein paar Kilometer lang, aber doch etwas anstrengend. Festes Schuhwerk ist wichtig. Oben sind noch Überreste minoischer Besiedlung zu sehen und zu erahnen, allerdings ist die Aussicht auch wirklich schön. Auf dem letzten Stück befindet sich ein kleines (Ziegen)Tor, das man wieder schließen sollte. In den Übergangszeiten pfeift dort ordentlich der Wind, deshalb ist dann Zwiebellook angesagt. Schwitzen und Frieren sind die Begleiter in diesen Zeiten.
 The small path to the top is only a few kilometers long, but a bit exhausting. Sturdy shoes are important. Remains of Minoan settlement can still be seen and guessed at above, but the view is also really beautiful. On the last piece there is a small (goat) gate that should be closed again. In the transitional periods the wind whistles properly there, which is why the onion look is the order of the day. Sweating and freezing are the companions in these times.
