P	Petr Hlavizna on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cute small beaches with crystal clear water mainly occupied by the locals. There are few restaurants that will cool you down after a long trek to a cave nearby. Bring lots of sunscreen, water and a torch!
T	Theodore Vertopoulos on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was amazed by the beach of Kato Zakros!!! It is a big beach, the waters are clears, no rocks inside and offers some sunbeds. It is not crowded, so you can relax. The best thing is that behind the sunbeds there are a few restaurants that you can eat watching the sea. What I did with my wife is we relaxed in the sunbeds of Nostos restaurant and then in the afternoon we sat on a table right behind the sunbeds and had a late lunch. Its was one of the best days!!!

Nevertheless, the beach is very clean, beautiful and peaceful. There are a lot of parking place, sunbeds and tavernas. Quite the most unexpected location with its own slice of history (Minoan), lovely beach and a number of Taverna's. Definitely worth a visit. We loved it!

Loved the peace and calm atmosphere. It is a must to see when you are in south east Crete. Really lovely
