★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You buy the ticket for at a small kiosk by the entrance. Bus X95 goes straight to Syntagma Square and it costs 5.50 euros. The journey takes about 45 min. A good alternative to taxi which can easily cost over 40 euros.

The bus driver was super kind and helpful - pointing out where to buy tickets :)
