We stayed one night in this quaint, charming hotel located in Old Town Chania. We had a late arrival, but notified the staff. They were wonderful enough to stay late at the reception to greet us. Located off the beaten path, the hotel is in the perfect location - far enough from the noise and the crowds, but still located in the heart of the city's action (located conveniently close to the city bus station and to shops/restaurants). The room was great! All of the decor was interesting and unique, including the shower! Breakfast was included and was wonderful - fresh fruit mix, greek yogurt with honey, generous bread breakfast, freshly squeezed OJ, and eggs made to order! Yum! The owners were super friendly, and they can provide local recommendations. I highly recommend this hotel!

Owner Andreas has done a fantastic job creating this jewel of a boutique hotel sequestered in a quiet spot within center city of old Chania. Delicious breakfast and very helpful and cheerful staff.

This was our second stay at La Maison Ottomane. After many trips being cancelled due to COVID, we desired a place we had been before and knew we would love. Andreas and Alex are consummate hosts and the hotel has been well thought through in terms of décor, amenities and service. We extended our stay after our first reservation, so enjoyed both The Aisha and The Roxelane rooms. Breakfast is plentiful, with an extensive selection, and a 24hr notice menu. Alex and Andreas ensure you do not leave hungry. In terms of amenities, the free onsite parking is a godsend in Chania Town! My luggage was delayed but the rooms had everything required to get me through a few days. But it really is Andreas and Alex that make La Maison Ottomane such a special and unique experience. Their attention to detail, pre-empting guest’s needs and assistance with local knowledge sets them apart from many hotels we have stayed at. Thank you!

Stayed here for 6 nights.A lot of the issues raised by Mike T from New York City are accurate. However the host Andreas and his assistant Alexandra do try their best to make your stay as pleasant as possible.Essentially if you want to stay in a B&B in the centre of old town Chania then this could be considered.

I'd describe this property as a unique luxury B&B rather than a hotel. There are no facilities one would typically find in a hotel such as a reception or swimming pool. This is compensated by the amazing 5-star breakfast provided by Alex within a lovely courtyard using beautiful cutlery. The space itself is split amidst two floors connected by a staircase, with the living room and toilet on the ground floor and bedroom and bath on the first floor. We also heard some partying noise until 2am from neighbouring Rosa Nera (look it up) on Saturday night, but after shutting the windows it was largely muffled. Overall, if you're okay with stairs, don't need much facilities and want to stay in Chania city centre and need parking, this is your place. If you have small kids, I'd go elsewhere.

Thank you to Andreas & Alex for making our stay very welcoming & pleasant. Breakfast is excellent with everything home made. The only thing is that the suite has restroom downstairs so make sure you can walk up & down. Don't rent a big car because the parking space is quite small.

We spent the first three days of our holiday at this unique and beautiful house. Our room “The Aisha”was by rule amazing with lots of room, the bed was the softness with the Egyptian sheets and the mattress in fact this turned out to be our best sleep here the whole of our ten day holiday. Alex was great hostess and we’re still talking about the breakfast a week later ! Fresh fruit the best Greek yoghurt and local honey so many different breads and amazing egg dishes on the menu . It’s so close ( 3 minute walk ) to the hustle and bustle of the old town yet so quiet . We enjoyed sitting on the patio and taking in the evening sun. As a well travelled couple I know that this little luxury hotel is high on the list of “ we’ll be back one day “ … thank you Andreas superb in every way . ..we will be recommending your beautiful hotel everywhere we go ..

Absolutely beautiful place! We had a room on the first floor with a private terrace. The room is stunning, every little detail is thought through. The hosts were very welcoming and kind. Delicious breakfast. Great location to visit Chania.
