It can be reacheble only by the water.
It is crouded because there are big boats which came almost in the same time.

You can reach Lalaria beach only by boat. We had really in mind to walk down but the rocks are so high. Not possible to reach by walk. Boats are available at the port of Skiathos city usually they offer trips 2-3h and the costs are between 15-20€. If you are in Skiathos just do it ❣️?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice beach with almost perfectly round pebbles. Most of the time the water is wavy there but nothing serious, it may only get dangerous if you swim under that opening of the rock near the edge of the beach. You may only reach the Lalaria beach via boat, it's not reachable in any other way. There's no beach bar, nor umbrellas. You can and should run to get a spot under the shadows created by the rocky cliff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the most interesting beach on the island. But you should not go with a north wind, try to visit the beach with a totally calm sea in order to enjoy the color of the water. Choose a big boat to take you there. Small woden boats like "lazy day" cancel the trip while you are on board and take you to other beaches because they can't reach the beach even with a 2 beaufort Northern wind.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There is a lot of hype about this beach but the trip to the beach is way more fun. The water is clear with white pebbles but it's very crowded. You have to bring water and food because there is nothing there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's the most beautiful beach in the island. You should book a tour or rent a boat and go there. We did the second and it was a bit challenging to reach the beach, because of the wind, but the scenery was absolutely worth it

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve been 2 times. It is very important when you choose to go.
The first time it was around 10 am when all the boats were there, it felt touristy and not special. Also there were big waves. Didn’t impress me.
But the second time It was about 6-7 pm, the sea was calm and we were the only boat there, about 30 -40 people.
It was such a beautiful experience, i have some amazing photos, totally worth it.
It’s a must in Skiathos.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is said to be the most beautiful beach of Skiathos. There are high cliffs around the beach giving some shade. The giant round stones, after which the beach is named, have become rare in recent years as tourists keep taking them. That's why it is forbidden to take any stones now from the beach. Please don't take any home and leave them for other people to admire. Otherwise there won't be many left in a few years. You can make great images though. I made a face from these stones.
