It took 3 years to find the best restaurant on kefalonia, makis grill house has traditional food, home made , good prices and a brilliant service and menu, makis is a excellent chef , even cooking something I requested not on the menu for the next night , and hand picked me a bag of lemons, which was very kind, we ate their every night and the food was impeccable, lovely bread with olive oil and oragano , and the best tasting Greek food I've every had , it's located up the main height street in skala , next right after galaxy super market , you won't be disappointed will see you again soon jim &sami

The food is freshly cooked and plenty of it the pig and the lamb on the spit has to be the best around. You are guaranteed a warm friendly welcome from Makis and his lovely family. If your visiting its up the main street down the side of the Ocean View Hotel. We ate at a few other restaurants before we came across Makis Grillhouse and the were nice but you get the best here for less money. Warm welcome,great food,good prices.

G	Google Guider on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food would of been ok if it wernt salty! Every meal was very salty. The food itself was good and didn't need all the salt it was cooked in. I had a mixed grill and my partner had cod fillet. The children ate off the kids menu, which was good.

Really lovely family service, Makis was so welcoming and really funny as the night went on! ? We tried the baked feta with honey and sesame seeds for the first time and will definitely be going back to get that again. Makis also gave us some of his grandmas sweet recipe which was delicious! Would 10/10 recommend ?

Authentic Greek food with outstanding service at a great price. We had fried cheese and olives as a starters and bream and Kefalonian meat pie for mains, it was all delicious.
