Εκεί μεγάλωσε και έζησε ο ποιητής Αριστοτέλης Βαλαωρίτης ενώ σήμερα η νήσος Μαδουρή βρίσκεται στην ιδιοκτησία του Νάνου Βαλαωρίτη και της Ελένης Καραπαναγιώτη, δισέγγονων του ποιητή.
Η Μαδουρή είναι νησάκι του Ιονίου Πελάγους.
Βρίσκεται ανάμεσα στο Νυδρί της Λευκάδας και στο Μεγανήσι και υπάγεται πλέον στο Δήμο Λευκάδας. Ανήκει στο σύμπλεγμα των Τηλεβοϊδών νήσων και στο σύμπλεγμα των Πριγκηπονήσων.
The island is owned by the Valaoritis family, where its mansion also dominates. There is also a temple owned by Valaoritis, Gothic. There, the poet Aristotle Valaoritis grew up and lived, while the Madouri Island is now owned by Nano Valaoritis and Eleni Karapanayiotis, the great-grandson of the poet.
Madouri is an island of the Ionian Sea.
It is located between Nydri of Lefkada and Meganissi and now belongs to the Municipality of Lefkada. It belongs to the complex of the Televoid islands and to the complex of the Princes.
