It is a good idea to have a hiking to this place. Nice and quiet , Monastery is not something to see it is a ruin .....but surrounding places...some wild beaches and a beautiful view to the see...

It's quite nice walk with rewarding view at the end. Better to have flat shoes (not flip flops or sandals). Path is partially in the shadow so it's not too bad even on a sunny day.

The ruins are hiding in the forest. On the other hand, a magnificent view of the sea. We walked to the ruins through an olive grove from a small lake. It was great despite the heat. I recommend taking a walk and seeing. For hikers.

Worth the trip. Contrary to other messages about the road being inaccessible. The road leads you all the way to the monastery, just drive slow and be polite when encountering other cars and you'll be fine. The view is astounding and the ruins mysterious, visit the beach afterwards to refresh and replenish your moisture after this trip. Just go back a little until you find the signs that lead you to the beach. There is no food/lunch available, but you'll find a kiosk to get some drinks!

Nice quite short walk from Kavos. With beautiful sea view. You can spot Paxos from there. We recommend going further to Arkoudilas beach and back to Kavos through Spartera. Mostly going along corfus trail until Spartera.

A nice short hike from Kavos around 3 km long with great views of the sea from the most southern part of Corfu. Be sure to take plenty of water.

If you enjoy a short hike while in Kavos, and spectacular views. I suggest the historical site on the cliffs. A 40min walk from the main street. Bring sandwiches & water as the secret beach is nearby. The beach is incredible✨️ This hike was the highlight of my trip. I spent 2 hours on the beach, so make a day of the hike. On the way back be sure to stop by Babis and his mountain cafe. He has a shower and toilets available to freshen up...And the mountain wine of course?❤️

Unbelievable views and beautiful old ruins of the monastery. There’s no signs about the history which is a shame but absolutely worth it. You could drive but recommend parking below the hill as the road is very uneven and it’s only a 15 min walk up 45mins walk will take you to the local beach which is also breath taking.
