★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Herrliche Ruhe und ein weiter Blick über die Buch von Sami, Ithaki und Antisamos. Kloster war leider geschlossen, obwohl wir zur Öffnungszeit da waren. Trotzdem lohnt sich der Weg schon wegen der Aussicht von der nahe gelegenen Akropolis. Schöne Wandergegend
 Gorgeous peace and a wide view over the book of Sami, Ithaki and Antisamos. Unfortunately the monastery was closed, although we were there for the opening time. Nevertheless, the path is worthwhile because of the view from the nearby Acropolis. Nice hiking area

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tja... Bij aankomst was het hek gesloten dus niet vrij veel van gezien. Wel een mooi uitzicht! Weg ernaartoe was daarentegen goed te doen, wat niet bij veel kloosters op het eiland het geval is.
Well ... On arrival the gate was closed, so we didn't see much of it. A nice view! On the other hand, the way there was good, which is not the case with many monasteries on the island.

Here's what you can find there: the renovated Agrilia monastery with beautiful murals, old bells in front of it, olive garden, the ruins of a tower, fantastic views of Sami all the way to Agia Efimia, Antisamos beach, green hills and blue sea all the way to Ithaca.
