Η μικρή Ι.Μ Αγίας Παρασκευής ανεγέρθηκε σε υψόμετρο 950 μέτρων και σε απρόσιτη τοποθεσία που από τον οπλαρχηγό της επανάστασης του Πήλιου Στεργίου Μπασδέκη το 1793.
Χρόνια παρακμάζουσα από καιρικές συνθήκες , σεισμούς, πολέμους και επίδοξους χρυσοθήρες. Επαναλειτούργησε με την ευλογία του Σεβασμιότατου Μητροπολίτου Δημητριάδος κ.κ. Ιγνατίου την 1η Σεπτεμβρίου εν έτει 2013.
Από το επόμενο έτος δια χειρός του ιερομονάχου Ακακίου, άρχισε να λειτουργεί το εργαστήριο παραδοσιακής βιβλιοδεσίας καλύπτοντας τις βιοποριστικές ανάγκες και τη συντήρηση της Ιεράς Μονής, ως άμισθου κληρικού και εφημέριου του παραδοσιακού και ευρέως διαδεδομένου οικισμού της Μακρινίτσας Πηλίου.
 The Holy Monastery
The small monastery of Agia Paraskevi was erected at an altitude of 950 meters and in an inaccessible location since the leader of the revolution of Pelion Stergios Basdekis in 1793.
Years of declining weather, earthquakes, wars and prospective goldsmiths. Reopened with the blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan Dimitriados Ignatius on 1 September 2013.
From the following year by the hand of the monk Akakios, the traditional bindery workshop began to cover the subsistence needs and maintenance of the Holy Monastery, as an unpaid cleric and pastor of the traditional and widespread settlement of Makrinitsa, Pelion.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ένα υπέροχο μέρος με απέραντη θέα στο Βόλο και τον Παγασητικό. Χαρακτηριστική εικόνα ο σταυρός μέσα στη λιμνούλα. Από το μονοπάτι που ξεκινάει από το parking της Μακρυνίτσας έχει αρκετή ανηφορική κλίση που το κάνει δύσκολο. Στη Μονή υπάρχει και τρεχούμενο πόσιμο νερό.
A wonderful place with endless views of Volos and the Pagasitikos. Typical image the cross inside the pond. From the path that starts from the parking lot of Makrinitsa there is a lot of uphill slope that makes it difficult. In the Monastery there is also running drinking water.
