★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Δεν έχει κτιριακά κάτι το ιδιαίτερο όμως οι ακολουθίες είναι κατανυκτικές. Η διαδρομή με τα πόδια κουραστική αλλά υπέροχη αν πας από το καλντερίμι. Πρόσβαση και με ΙΧ
 It doesn't have anything special in terms of buildings, but the sequences are overnight. The walk is tiring but wonderful if you go by the cobbled path. Access by car

Apart from the grace of the Saint, the monastery is probably one of the most beautiful places in Greece .. !!!

Small but hospitable and with a wonderful view of the monastery. Elder Eupraxia lovable and enlightened creature. Worth a visit!

Taş duvarları ve taştan yapılmış çatıları ile yoğun bitki örtüsü içerisinde yamaçta bulunan bir turistik yerleşim merkezidir. Köyde yöresel lezzetleri tadabileceğiniz bir çok taverna bulunmakta. Eğer sizin de yolunuz bir gün buralara düşerse Makrinitsa’nın arnavut kaldırımlı sokaklarının kenarlarına dizelenmiş tavernaların birinde, Volos’un köylerinde yapılmış olan el yapımı tsipouroyu mutlaka tadınız.
Makrinitsa is a historic village famous for its stone houses and cobblestones in the Thessaly region of Greece. It is a tourist settlement on the slope in dense vegetation with its stone walls and roofs made of stone. There are many taverns in the village where you can taste local flavors. If your road falls here one day, you should definitely taste the handmade tsipouro made in the villages of Volos in one of the taverns lined up on the sides of the cobblestone streets of Makrinitsa.
