★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Υπέροχο αμφιθεατρικό Μοναστήρι υπέροχη Αγιογράφηση και θα σας αποζημιώση με ένα καταπληκτικό ηλιοβασίλεμα στον Κορινθιακό κόλπο και επι πλέον οι μοναχές στο μοναστήρι ασχολούνται με χειροποίητα προιοντα τα οποία μπορεί ο κάθε επισκέπτης να τα προμηθευτεί.....υπέροχο τραχανά με ντομάτα ..υπέροχα γλυκά εποχιακά κουλουράκια και ένα σορό υπέροχα σκευάσματα όπως είπα χειροποίητα και μοναδικά σε γεύση και ποιότητα ΜΟΝΑΣΤΗΡΙΑΚΗ!!!!!!!
Wonderful amphitheater Monastery wonderful Hagiography and will compensate you with an amazing sunset in the Corinthian gulf and in addition the nuns in the monastery are engaged in handmade products which every visitor can get ..... wonderful trachana with tomato ..great delicious cookies and a lot of wonderful preparations as I said handmade and unique in taste and quality MONASTIRIAKI !!!!!!!

Το πρώτο καθολικό της μονής, που έχει καταστραφεί, χρονολογείται στο έτος 1935.
Ο σύγχρονος ναός είναι μια ωραία τρίκλιτη βασιλική με τρούλο. Στο εσωτερικό του ναού φυλάσσονται ενδιαφέρουσες εικόνες θρησκευτικής και ιστορικής αξίας.
The Holy Monastery of Agios Ioannis the Forerunner is part of the Monastery of Esfigmenos on Mount Athos.
The first katholikon of the monastery, which has been destroyed, dates back to 1935.
The modern church is a beautiful three-aisled basilica with a dome. Inside the church are kept interesting icons of religious and historical value.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Είναι λίγο πριν φτάσεις στο όσιο Πατάπιο . είναι πολύ σεβάσμιο προσκύνημα σε πολύ ωραίο μέρος της διαδρομής στο βουνό.
It is just before you reach Saint Patapio. is a very respectable pilgrimage to a very nice part of the mountain route.
