Ο τοπικός Σύλλογος φαίνεται να έκανε φιλότιμες προσπάθειες για μια ανακαίνιση και ηλεκτροδότηση του χώρου το 2004. Πέραν αυτού όμως, το όλο εγχείρημα εγκαταλείφθηκε για άλλη μια φορά. Ο επίμονος επισκέπτης θα απολαύσει το μονοπάτι, τη θέα προς τη θάλασσα και την ασκητική ζωή ενός ανθρώπου, του μοναχού Αγαθάγγελου, που έζησε στην πλαγιά αυτή από το 1926 έως τον θάνατό του το 1939.
