★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Όμορφος μεγαλοπρεπής ναός στην δυτική πλευρά του λιμανιού στον Πειραιά, τον οποίον αντικρίζουν οι επιβάτες των καραβιών που δένουν σε αυτή την πλευρά.
Ο Άγιος Διονύσιος γεννήθηκε το 1547 μ.Χ. στο χωριό Αιγιαλός της Ζακύνθου.
Σύμφωνα με τοπικές παραδόσεις της Ζακύνθου, που δεν επιβεβαιώνονται ιστορικά, ο Άγιος είχε για ανάδοχο τον Άγιο Γεράσιμο.
Ο ναός εορτάζεται δύο φορές το χρόνο, στις 3 Οκτωβρίου όπου τιμάται ο Άγιος Διονύσιος ο Αρεοπαγίτης, καθώς επίσης και στις 17 Δεκεμβρίου όπου τιμάται η μνήμη του Αγίου Διονυσίου του εν Ζακύνθου, Αρχιεπισκόπου Αιγίνης του Θαυματουργού.

Saint Dionysios was born in 1547 AD. in the village of Aegialos in Zakynthos.
According to local traditions of Zakynthos, which are not historically confirmed, the Saint had Agios Gerasimos as his contractor.
The church is celebrated twice a year, on October 3, where Saint Dionysios the Areopagite is honored, as well as on December 17, where the memory of Saint Dionysios of Zakynthos, Archbishop of Aegina the Miracle Worker is honored.
