Με τον εντυπωσιακό εορτασμό του Natsu Matsuri, του παραδοσιακού καλοκαιρινού φεστιβάλ της Ιαπωνίας, ολοκληρώθηκε η μετάβαση του πάρκου των Νηρηίδων στο Παγκράτι σε θεματικό Ιαπωνικό Πάρκο, το πρώτο της Αθήνας.

Ακολουθώντας πιστά το τελετουργικό, με τα προβλεπόμενα χρονικά ορόσημα, τον περασμένο Νοέμβριο -σε ειδική τελετή- είχε τοποθετηθεί ο θεμέλιος λίθος, από τον Δήμαρχο Αθηναίων Κώστα Μπακογιάννη, τον Πρέσβη της Ιαπωνίας Nakayama Yasunori και την CEO της JTI κ. Lili Zigoslou, καθώς το Πάρκο δημιουργήθηκε στο πλαίσιο του προγράμματος του Δήμου Αθηναίων «Υιοθέτησε την πόλη σου», με την ευγενική υποστήριξη της JTI Hellas.

C	Chris Abeyta on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was an amazing experience. We caught it just they were closing so ran up into the third gate and third line of defense. Had I known this was here we would have definitely allotted at least an hour or more to explore the entire acropolis/ fort / castle. The views were beautiful and the histories incredibly rich.

E	Evi K on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful place to go for a walk yet it's apparent that none cares about the animals' safety and well-being. For example, the water that those animals swim in is beyond dirty. Moreover, I saw many people feeding the animals even though there are signs that clearly state that this act is forbidden, they were also many children throwing rocks and other items at the animals or they would try to kick them and it's sad that their parents were close but they didn't stop them. Furthermore, even though there are bins around the park, people leave their trash on benches or drop them on the ground. With all that being said, I would suggest that the security of the park is enhanced so that such actions can be avoided in the future.
E	Ethan Kang on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Enjoyable walk through a serene city park, observing many birds along the way. There are some enormous Monk Parakeet nests and they feed on the ground sometimes, so keep an eye out if you're interested.
A	Alex K on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ AMAZING FREE PLACE TO VISIT ☑️ stumbled across these gardens which are absolutely beautiful! And unlike other attractions in Greece, is FREE ?! Very large garden with lots of beautiful trees and wildlife (include tortoises and turtles ?). ? give it a visit!

A pond, a kids playground - the reason why my son enjoyed Athens, and orange orchard everywhere. I never thought it was good but if you have kids, go bring them here.

The lake was under maintenance when we were there but the rest of the park is simply amazing. We wished we had more time to spend at the park as you can spend hours walking around it. It's also connecting to different regions of the city centers.
