★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Η Οικία των Τριτώνων είναι ένα πολυτελές σπίτι με ροδικό περιστύλιο. Ένα κοινό χαρακτηριστικό όλων των σπιτιών ήταν ότι αντιμετώπισαν προς τα μέσα. Τα δωμάτια ήταν διατεταγμένα γύρω από μια πλατεία αυλή από την οποία έλαβαν φως και αέρα, και δεν υπήρχαν εξωτερικά παράθυρα στο ισόγειο. Αυτό έκανε τα κτίρια πιο δροσερά, ασφαλέστερα και πιο ήσυχα και προστάτευαν την ιδιωτικότητα των επιβατών.
 The House of Tritons is a luxurious house with a rose peristyle. A common feature of all the houses was that they faced inwards. The rooms were arranged around a square courtyard from which they received light and air, and there were no external windows on the ground floor. This made the buildings cooler, safer and quieter and protected the privacy of the occupants.
