Most of the products are family production, delicious and very healthy...Ioanna is a great cook but most of all a wandeful person ! Higly reccomended (...try meat pie ...and kalitsounia...and the season salad...and staka...and...tsigariasto...and...and...and....!!!)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place came by recommendation and offers Traditional delicious food. It’s nestled in the mountains in a tiny village. We came there late on a Sunday afternoon and stayed while they were already closed. Nea roumata doesn’t offer a menu but the host just tells you what they have. We had a selection of different treats (salad, Dakos, zucchini fritters, lamb with artichoke and pork with chestnuts) and it was delicious. You get so much value for your money here! Thoroughly recommendable.
They even offered two desserts (Loukoumades and apple pie plus rakia).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic, rustic and authentic Taverna in the midst of the beautiful Crete mountains. Amazing food with gracious and welcoming hosts. Highly recommended.
Plus, we visited during a 4x4 mountain safari adventure of the back of a TUI cruise. Brilliant guide/driver. Amazing vistas and totally made the holiday for me.
Bravo Michael and everyone we met on our brilliant tour.
