Τάσσου που έγινε γνωστό ως «Επιτάφιος» αν και ο ίδιος το είχε ονομάσει «Λεπτομέρεια Εμφύλιου Πολέμου»,που κοσμεί τον σταθμό του Μετρό στη Νίκαια. Πρόκειται για την πρώτη μεγάλου μεγέθους ξυλογραφία του, μήκους 2,70 μέτρων που ο Α. Τάσσος φιλοτέχνησε το 1961 και δώρισε ο ίδιος στη Νίκαια το 1964 για τα 20 χρόνια από το Μπλόκο της Κοκκινιάς.Ο Δήμος έκανε αποδεκτή τη δωρεά το 1965 και το έργο βρισκόταν στο Γραφείο Δημάρχου Νίκαιας έως το Νοέμβριο του 1967 όταν καταστράφηκε κατά τη περίοδο της δικτατορίας. Δέκα χρόνια αργότερα ο χαράκτης ξανατύπωσε ένα αντίτυπο και το δώρισε ξανά στον Δήμο και έως σήμερα βρίσκεται στην αίθουσα εκδηλώσεων του Δημαρχείου. Το νέο αντίτυπο που εκτυπώθηκε τοποθετήθηκε στη στάση του Μετρό της πόλης. The main feature of the station is the emblematic triptych of the engraver A. Tassos which became known as "Epitaph" although he himself had named it "Detail of the Civil War", which adorns the Metro station in Nice. This is his first large-scale woodcut, 2.70 meters long, which A. Tassos painted in 1961 and donated to Nice in 1964 for the 20 years of the Kokkinia Block. The Municipality accepted the donation in 1965 and The project was in the Office of the Mayor of Nicaea until November 1967 when it was destroyed during the dictatorship. Ten years later the engraver reprinted a copy and donated it again to the Municipality and to this day is in the event hall of the City Hall. The new printed copy was placed at the Metro station of the city.
A	Angela Vari on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ο σταθμός μέσα ειναι πολύ όμορφος και καθαρός. Ο φυσικός φωτισμός ειναι στα μεγάλα + του σταθμού καθώς και το έντονα άσπρο χρώμα του σταθμού. Στα αρνητικά, η θέση του σταθμού φαίνεται να μην είναι σε κεντρικό σημείο, αλλά σε κάποια ήσυχη γειτονιά και αυτό ίσως να μην βολεύει αρκετά στη χρήση του. Όπως και οι άλλοι δύο καινούριοι σταθμοί, δεν διαθέτει και αυτός ακόμη ηλεκτρονικές θύρες και η είσοδος στο σταθμό ειναι ελεύθερη. The station inside is very nice and clean. The natural light is in the big + of the station as well as the intense white color of the station. On the downside, the location of the station does not seem to be in a central location, but in a quiet neighborhood and this may not be comfortable enough to use. Like the other two new stations, it does not yet have electronic ports and admission to the station is free.
