g	grossgaber on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Schön gelegener Burgberg der historischen Stadt Samikon (bzw. auch als Samos bzw. Samia benannt) mit fantastischer Aussicht über die Ebene von Pyrgos! Leider gibt es außer einer Informationstafel keine weiteren Informationen zu diesem historischen Ort. Gelände ist frei zugänglich, Zufahrt ist nur teilweise asphaltiert/ betoniert. Beautifully situated castle hill of the historic town of Samikon (also known as Samos or Samia) with fantastic views over the plain of Pyrgos! Unfortunately there is no information about this historic place except an information board. Terrain is freely accessible, access is only partially asphalted / concreted.
S	Sakis Boutsikas on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Πολύ ωραία τοποθεσία μέσα σε βραχωδες και δασωδες περιβάλλον.Τα τείχη της αρχαίας Ακρόπολης είναι εντυπωσιακά και σώζονται σε αρκετά σημεία σε σχετικά καλη κατάσταση Υπάρχει εύκολη πρόσβαση με το αυτοκίνητο μετα το χωριό κάτω Σαμικό στον δρόμο προς Ζαχαρω και πολύ κοντά στην λιμνοθάλασσα του Καιαφα . Αξίζει να επισκεφτείτε την τοποθεσία. Very nice location in rocky and wooded environment. The walls of the ancient Acropolis are impressive and are preserved in several places in relatively good condition. It is worth visiting the site.

Βρίσκεται σε στρατηγική θέση, καθώς κυριαρχεί στην εύφορη πεδιάδα του Σαμικού και δεσπόζει στο δρόμο που ένωνε κατά την αρχαιότητα την Πισάτιδα με την Τριφυλία και τη δυτική Μεσσηνία. Περιλαμβάνει προϊστορική ακρόπολη που καταλαμβάνει το βραχώδη λόφο Κλειδί, καθώς και κλασική ακρόπολη που εκτείνεται στα ανατολικά. The archeological site of Kato Samikos extends to the north of Lake Caiaphas and is possibly identified with an ancient city that successively received the names Makistos, Arini and finally Samia or Samikon or Samos. It is strategically located, as it dominates the fertile plain of Samikos and dominates the road that in ancient times connected Pisatida with Trifylia and western Messinia. It includes a prehistoric citadel that occupies the rocky key of Klidi, as well as a classic citadel that stretches to the east.

L	L TSELOS on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Πολύ δεν γνωρίζουν την ύπαρξη του, αν και είναι δίπλα στο δρόμο. Αρκετά εύκολη πρόσβαση με 500μ ανηφορικό δρόμο (τσιμέντο) και έπειτα 500μ περπάτημα. Υπέροχη θέα. Χρειάζεται διαμόρφωση μονοπάτια Many do not know of its existence, although it is next to the road. Quite easy access with 500m uphill road (cement) and then 500m walk. Wonderful view. Needs landscaping
