 Nice walk, 3-4 hour walk from old Cherso. Beautiful view.

You can see as far as the snow capped summit of Mount Ida to the west.
Area is full of the beautiful Dragon Lilly.
There are loads of animal bones about of various species including birds of prey.
The gates mentioned in other reviews were there, but were only secured by a piece of tied rope.
We just untied and went through and then tied it back up.
Bumped into some local telecommunication engineers working on the mobile masts at the top and they weren't remotely phased by our presence.
It took my 8 year old around 1 hour 45 mins to walk up from Piskopiano.
The path is generally easy going, but with the occasional section of loose rock underfoot.
Definitely worth a look.

Everything would be awesome if the last 200 meters weren't closed. But it was worth it! I recommend.
Take a lot of water and go in the later afternoon ☺️☺️☺️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mountains are superb but observation desk or what ever wasn't there we found some goats about 4-6 aš Google maps shows road for car!!!!!!! No way to go by car just by foot

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unbelievable!!!! Seriously 'off road' got all the way up only to be stopped short by a fence which ruined the view as we couldn't get to the edge. See the photos. We took lunch expecting amazing views. Seriously disappointing! Don't waste your time.
