The Agrippa Conservatory was a large concert venue in the center of the Ancient Agora of Athens, for music events and philosophical lectures.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Uno de los restos arqueológicos que más llaman la atención cuando se visita el ágora griega, después, naturalmente, del templo de Hefesto, también llamado Teseion. Se trata de un odeón de gran tamaño construido en época romana por encargo de Agripa, la mano derecha de Augusto. La entrada del odeón estaba presidida por unas esculturas monumentales de las que podemos ver algunas. Por la parte de detrás (apenas visitada) se pueden ver los restos del odeón mismo y de las gradas.
Siglos después se construyó en el mismo lugar un gimnasio que acabó enterrando los restos de edificios más antiguos como el odeón.
One of the archaeological remains that attract the most attention when visiting the Greek agora, then, of course, of the temple of Hephaestus, also called Teseion. It is a large odeon built in Roman times commissioned by Agrippa, the right hand of Augustus. The entrance of the odeon was presided over by monumental sculptures of which we can see some. On the back (just visited) you can see the remains of the odeon itself and the stands.
Centuries later a gymnasium was built in the same place that ended up burying the remains of older buildings such as the odeon.
