★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Okay, so don’t underestimate this hike. It’s relatively flat, but the path is uneven and covered in large rocks. You do have to watch where you’re going, so to speak. The hike takes about 25 minutes there and 25 min back, but it feels longer due to the amount of focus you need to put into each step, plus the heat. It’s an easy hike but the heat makes it challenging. If you’re not used to hiking in hot weather, perhaps skip this one.
Note that you cannot drive the road all the way. There will be a gate. Park your car there and take the dirt path.
The small lighthouse is in ruins. It’s pretty cool and the view is nice as well, but if you go, go for the hike not the lighthouse. It’s more like a mini reward at the end, but not the grand finale you might hope for.
