★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Is 35 m to beach. The room was nice with very comfortable bed but small bathroom without ventilation. The food was ok, but under expectations.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Me and my girlfriend was there hotel 7 days. Positive was that beach was close , food was not so bad.
Negative was- first the air conditioning was broken, but it repaird. Shower cubicle was so small, it was impossible to wash yourself with closed door. Air conditioning and safe was extra charge. When you leave the room there was a system that electriciti went out when you take your room key with you and also air conditioning went out, then your room become hot and when you return you must start again to make your room cooler. Most negative thing in Pela Maria hotel was ants. There was so much ants, they was everywhere. And when my vacation ended i return to my homeland and when i opened my bags, there was ants everywhere. All my clothes, my souvenirs and stuff was full of ants. A had to use insecticides and wash all my clothes and throw away all souvenirs food to get rid of them.
I don't recomend this hotel at all. I still find ants in my home.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The location is Central and the Beach is nearby. The staff was always friendly and respectful. The food was really good for the price and local dishes were served.
90% of the guests came from Russia. Unfortunately not only family's with kid's, there were also single men, a lot of alcohol and screeming, disturbing people in the night. The hotel didn't call the police. They tried to handle it quite. But that's definitely the wrong way to handle situations like that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After some issues with our rooms on the 1st day, which were quickly sorted out I have had nothing but positive things to say about Pela Maria. The staff are really helpful and friendly, the buffet style food is really good and Nikos, the chef is lovely. The shower room is very small but the beds are really comfortable. I would happily come here again. A fantastic place for a holiday.

really, in general, we were satisfied with the hotel. Somewhat disrupted by the little things: shimmering bathroom doors, locks, no hairdryer. But everything was redeemed by very pleasant and helpful staff (reception), good weather and people. True, the bartender is very serious :). As a hotel really worth the three strong stars, I would definitely recommend you to friends. Thank you and I wish you good luck!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel is average at the most. The best thing is breakfast, other meals are good only if you have nothing else to eat. It is a good jump point to explore Crete, so to sleep and eat breakfast, nothing else. Now on the bad side.... I was staying there with my girlfriend and one night we decided to play pool, located in the lobby. After we started playing, the old blonde "hag", who scans guests over the reseption table, like a radar scanning for incoming enemy aircraft, came to us and told us that we can not play pool after 11 o'clock p.m. so that the guests may sleep. It was 9 o'clock p.m. and we had no intention playing more than one game. But when it comes to handling drunken guests having loud debates in front of other guests rooms at 2 o'clock a.m. the hotel will not and I repeat WILL NOT do a single thing about it and I can assure you that the four German guests were so loud that they were heard through all the hotel all the way to the reception desk. Do not come here if you wish to have a good night sleep.
