This place was wonderful but, definitely not for everyone. The guy who owns this hotel tried very hard to meet our needs. We are part of a 5 person family and upon arrival he recommended two rooms that were smaller and cheaper (and just made more sense). He made sure we liked everything and even found us at night in the town to ask specifics about our rooms. The rooms we had were amazing and felt like you lived in a castle. The internet they had here was slow, but you are at the southern tip of Europe, what do you expect (surprising they even had it). If you aren't coming here to watch YouTube for days you will be fine (recommend to just buy a local SIM card as I did). The views are breathtaking and the owner even provided a boat tour of the surrounding area and told us all about it in very good English, this was free! The beach may not be the best but the surrounding area offers a better beach within a short drive, the one here is great for snorkeling though with some interesting fish and rays (also the water is a bit cold. At night the lights on the other side of the water look like stars, and the stars themselves look amazing. As for breakfast, that's was a feast. The owner tried his best with tea for all and orange juice, eggs, loaded toasts and a very delicious yougurt with honey. He brings the breakfast to you! This is also all free and makes you feel VIP. We were attacked by wasps a bit but that was to do with us eating honey outside -- so eat inside if you mind. Very struck by the owners love for his own family business and care for customers. If you are coming to Mani want some great views and a unique experience in an ancient and historic place -stay here! (Attached are pictures from our free boat tour of the surrounding area)

A very beautiful guest house with nice view and garden. The owner is very helpful he even got us to a very beautiful beach by his boat.I highly recommend this hotel. We will certainly come back

A very beautiful place if you need peace and relaxation with a direct access to the sea. Friendly staff and owners and the Mani breakfast was great.

Last stop before the southernmost point of Greek mainland. Whether you are travelling on a sailboat, a camper or a motorbike like me Porto Kagio can accomodate you. There is a free camper park but I guess the tavern charges you within the dinner bill.

Very nice place, super clean and the owners are super gentle. The breakfast is awesome with only fresh product and can be served on the terrace of your room. Location is amazing!

By far the worst place we stayed in Mani. Basic room with a bed, a couple of pieces of furniture, a small fridge, a tiny bathroom and nothing more. Not even a bedside lamp, a shelf in the bathroom or a simple drinking glass. No internet reception in the room, balcony not really private, no true view, path leading to building a dirt road. Website photos truly deceptive. As for the price, a real rip-off. There is far better accommodation in Mani for half the price.

Beautiful rooms in a very isolated tiny quaint village. Very welcoming and friendly hosts. A few cute restaurants and a café/bar along the waterfront and clear sea and sand for swimming. Go hide here for a week to get away! Decent internet.
