★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very unwelcoming, uninviting and pushy waiter. We walked by and studied the place cautiously, the lady invited us to sit down, but a male waiter had no patience, and ordered us to leave. So, off we went. And the restaurant had few guests all the time when we looked back waiting for the ferry.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Prices are reasonable for Ammoudi Bay, but they are higher than Oía. However, you cannot beat enjoying a meal right next to the crystal clear Aegean Sea.
If you just want the experience, just order appetizers and drinks, such as a Greek salad (€7.50), grilled octopus, (€12) or espresso (€2.50).
Keep in mind that this is Europe, so service is nothing as fast as America's, so just ask for what you want opposed to expect it to happen (e.g., pay the bill).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fourth time in Santorini and first time in Ammoudi Bay. Can't believe haven't found Red Shark before. We visited the tavern with my family for a late lunch,what a great place. We all got salads and of course a lot of seafood:octopus,calamari,mussels and fried shrimp. Even left some room for desert. Service was quick,friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Prices are reasonable comparing the one at home-US. Highly recommend won't regret it.
