Regina Mare - Imerovigli

Absolutely stunning view from our room’s terrace! Watched the incredibly beautiful sunset from our caldera panoramic view terrace nightly. Staff were so wonderful in every way! Food was excellent. Memorable, completely enjoyable experience!

We were welcomed very warmly to the hotel by the hotel manager and her staff. Our room in this 20 roomed hotel was very spacious with a balcony overlooking the Caldera. Breakfast was a real treat each day containing many individual local dishes by hard working chefs. Purchased drinks were brought by staff to our sunbeds or to the balcony outside our room. We felt incredibly well looked after in this lively quiet hotel set on the hillside in this very beautiful setting.

Exceptional staff! Perfect location! Best breakfast we've ever experienced (in a hotel). Helen and her team are simply amazing. We stayed one week and the service across the board was consistent. Simply marvelous! We are already planning our next trip.

This hotel, like many of the hotels in Imerovigli is on the west coast of the Island with breath-taking views. We stayed in the Deluxe Suite which was just about the nicest room we'd ever stayed in. Perfectly clean, modern, private, quiet, secluded. Hot tub on the private balcony overlooking the amazing Caldera. What sets this hotel apart from others is the staff. They were the most welcoming, helpful, considerate, kind hotel staff we had ever met, right down to the personal touch of knowing our names right from the first night. Many people say that Oia is the place to be, but we found it to be crowded and busy. Not what people tend to go to Santorini for. I lovely day trip but I would recommend Imerovigli to stay 100%!

We were initially booked in a different hotel (which apparently was a 4*) . At the last minute they sent a message asking us to check in into the Regina Mare which is rated as a 2*. So we were quite disappointed but, given that we were travelling we did not get time to evaluate the situation. When we got there we were given a tiny room (but view was awesome). When we spoke to Kostas he gave us an adjacent room at no additional charge. Not the best situation as our family got split but better than what we had. But, at the end of the day its all about the view and location. Imerovigli is the highest point and located perfectly for one to enjoy the island. Pros: Views are fantastic of the Caldera maybe the best on Santorini. Enjoyed sitting in the balcony and eating a nice breakfast. Finally, Kostas and Milos and the rest of the staff are great hosts. They went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Cons: A lot of steps to climb down and then up (as the hotel is located lower on the cliff). Room was tiny.

The location of the hotel is perfect, you can enjoy the sunset every night. We spent 7 wonderful days here, with a very friendly, welcoming staff, available for any question or problem. Breakfast is plentiful, very hearty which can be enjoyed with a wonderful view. No need to travel to Oia for sunset, all you have to do is stay at the hotel and enjoy the best view. It is located in a very quiet area, close to restaurants and shops. The restaurants in the area have very good food at normal prices for Santorini, they are not as expensive as in Oia.

Just got home after a week at this hotel. The location is great as you don't get daytrippers walking past your all day. Room was superb and kept immaculate throughout our stay. All the staff were friendly and very helpful. Particularly Jenny and Costas. We had a room with its own hottub. Breakfast was superb with lots of choice delivered to your room every morning. It is in a quiet part of the island which suited us. O ly ashore walk from night life. Very highly recommended ?
