 Small selection, but very good food. Great fries, good olive oil, good bread. Great value for money (26 € for Greek salad + bifteki + tzatziki + 3x cola)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious food and friendly staff. Highly reccommended!! When we reached the restaurant the waiter was smiley and he found a table for us. He was fluent in english and he speaks two more languages! He told us about the menu and the food came quick. All of the products are fresh from local farms and they change their menu every day. I had a steak with chips, my friend had chicken with salad and my other friend had a vegetarian dish, there is also available vegan on request. The portions were big and I enjoyed my food with local wine. My friends had raki, a regional strong spirit which is accompanied with some little greek tapas(mezze). So we had a lot of food and excellent service. Also a great value for money. The environment is traditional, relaxed and the restaurant is located in the central square of Mitropolis. I am going back again for sure!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is like magic! We just arrived to Crete and stumbled across this fantastic family run place as we were driving south from Heraklion to Agia Galini. We had grilled pork, potatoes with tzatziki farmer salad, bread, watermelon, frappe and raki.
What a perfect place for the first meal in Crete - tugged away from conventional tourist hot spots this is a super authentic place located on the village square under a lush tree. It’s worth a detour any day!
