★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a beautiful church. It was built in the sixth century and dedicated to Saint Titus, the companion of Paul and one of the purported founders of the church on Crete. It is inside the Gortyn Archaeological Park, so you do not have to pay extra to see it. This is, in my opinion, one of the top places to visit while on Crete.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You can get closer to it by paying the €6 entrance fee, but it's still visible from the outside. If you only came for this, it's not worth the ticket price.
