★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The location is perfect! It's still in Hersonissos, yet far from the madding crowd. But if you want to feel the buzz of the city, it's hardly a drive down the road. The beach opposite the apartments is small, but very interesting. A sandy beach with a little cave. Although quite rocky around, it makes a great collection of rock pools. The apartment we had was the one on the ground floor. It was just perfect for us. We loved the pool. It's beautiful and not too deep too. My kids would make haste for the pool every morning! We would have breakfast (and any other meal we have at the apartment) on the patio facing the pool. It's priceless getting that relaxed feeling. A glass of wine (or raki!) by the pool watching the sunset, whether the kids are in the pool or not, is something I'll never forget. I didn't want it to end. Katerina and Manos (and Katerina's sister), were wonderful hosts. Katerina will give you plenty of information for wherever you want to visit on Crete. I felt very comfortable with Katerina from Day 1! When we left, it was like leaving a friend. It's things like these that helped make your holiday very special, very memorable. It's one of the best holidays I've ever had. And I have travelled to many countries around the world.
