Royal Heights Resort Hotel - Pezoula

Absolutely nice place, we stayed in a Suite, very comfortable and clean. The hotel staff very friendly specially Maria for reception. For sure we will come back in this hotel again. Congratulations.

We had a Private Pool Villa, nice stay ,nice staff and very clean. THANK YOU ! We didnt try the breakfast or Restaurant so I cannot say anything to that. Definitely recommend a car ! Parking directly in front of the Villa, thats great. Airport = 25min drive, bakery = 2 min drive and shops/ Restaurants also.

Had a good time at Royal Heights Resort during our time at Crete. All the staffs including kitchen and house keeping are really friendly and helpful. When we arrived, we were not fully satisfied with the room's state but the staff were really quick to deal with the issues. Location is really nice. Be prepared to have some extra budget for Taxi as it's bit further up from the main Malia town. 7 Euros from Church to the Hotel but they do arrange shuttle from Hotel to Town (not always available) if you let them know in advance

Our family stayed there for a week in late July. The place is located in the hills from Malia town. Its very demanding getting up the resort without a vehicle since its a very steep hill, we have a 1 year old and it would be quite challenging getting there by foot. So a rental car is almost a must if you dont want to be using taxi all the time. While our stay we Crete was categorised with high Covid 19 activity, but the hotel decided to have a baptism with 50+ people and a party on the resort. To us it seemed irresponsible when the Crete when on high Covid numbers. We got no information upon arrival at the hotel that this event was happening. The Internet in our room was 90% of the time not working due to bad wifi range, specially in this times is important to have Internet to keep up with covid regulations and laws/rules from the government and our government. I notified the reception but nothing was done. My 4g from the local operator was also failing a lot. For our departure we had to take a flight 1200 at Chania airport, google maps says it takes about 2.5 hrs but we took almost 4 hours, since people in Crete drive a little irresponsible and I had to drive safe ... specially with a 1 year old. We asked if it was possible to refund the last night so we could drive to Chania a day before our departure and stay a night in Chania close to the airport, to avoid the long drive the same day of the departure. This was not possible the hotel said... to be frankly I did not understand why this was not possible.. my only explanation is greed. The rooms were well equipped, clean and spacious. The catering crew was amazing and very professional. The pool is big and beautiful view over Malia. But to be a five star hotel I will not be coming back.

An absolutely stunning view of the mountains a great place to relax. The pool is large so it’s never crowded, plus there is a shallow pool for the little ones it’s amazing. The bar service is great they speak English really well and have a good variety of drinks and serve foods such as toasties, crisps and chips. It is an amazing place for a wedding reception with tables ready to be built up for weddings. The inside is so pristine and elegant i would definitely recommend to people staying in Crete.

Breakfast was nice and the private pool was great during these troubling times. However we spent a considerable amount of money to have a private Villa but every weekend the hotel was over run by locals with a day pass and some sort of DJ blasting music out all day which was so loud you could not hear yourself think and after we complained apparently the hotel are powerless to stop this as these people whilst not guests at the hotel are spending money at the bar. I suppose they figured they’ve already got my money ? well they won’t be getting any more unfortunately

Simply stunning we stay in the presidential villa overlooking malia. The villa is large 2 storeys with 2 bedrooms a jet spa bath and shower with a wet room shower downstairs.full kitchen a large lounge area with all amenities. It has a huge pool with sunbeds with cushions and parasol plus grass that is nice to walk on when hot. The main hotel is where you go for breakfast lunch and dinner and is exceptional with great friendly staff and the food that would suit most people. I would like to mention athena who overlooks the resort and welcomes everyone like they are family truly a lovely friendly kind helpfull amazing women who goes well above and beyond 24 hours a day to help you have a wonderful holiday. We have kept in touch for years and if ever athena left we feel the resort would lose a lot of its charm and customers that is how much she means to everyone.
