e	emma thomas on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rude staff. Stay away from here if you can, the owner (Ingrid) and her husband were absolutely awful. They walked into our room every night telling us to ‘shut up or get out’ despite one of the occasions us just sitting silently. Ingrid was very rude and did not treat us with respect in any way, one of our friends was pushed by her husband and told to get out of our room when we were chatting (around 7pm- not at a time on which we could wake people up). Plus our room was only ‘cleaned’ with once, yet this cleaning meant new towels and bed linen. The only positive was the lady round the pool who was lovely and couldn’t fault her at all.
M	Maureen Twemlow on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Melissa Old Town Malia is a perfect paradise to relax, have fun, eat, drink and enjoy the company of the Fragaki Family. It is a Family run hotel and you are sure to be looked after and cared for, nothing is too much trouble you only have to ask. The vegetables are all Organic and grown by the lovely George's at his Allotment, and they are Delicious. Ingrid is the perfect lady to ask advice and guidance so you can tour the Island and see all the best places and villages. Most of all its as clean and comfortable as it has always been, only difference now is Social distancing and hand sanitisers due to Covid-19. You have to wear a mask to go into shops/supermarkets but this is the Normal in England also. Abide by these simple rules and you won't be slapped with a 150 Euro fine by the Police, and you will keep Crete as Safe as it has always been. This is my 12th time here and I adore my Special Piece of Paradise so let us keep it Safe.

Location is excellent - supermarket just around the corner, only a few minutes walk to the Old Town with lots of lovely restaurants, tavernas and shops, and a 5 minute walk to the top of the strip which has loads of bars, restaurants, clubs and close to taxis / bus routes if you wish to explore the island. Apartments are lovely, spacious, very clean, have everything you need, wifi is good, pool area is absolutely fantastic and lots of sunbeds / space and the grounds are really well kept. The food served in the pool bar is lovely. What makes theses apartments outstanding though is the family who own them and the people who work there - they are all really nice and friendly and make you feel so welcome, and create a really friendly environment which extends to the guests. We met some lovely people during our stay here. Thank you so much to George, Ingrid, Helias, Anna & Christine for making our holiday so memorable. We were sad to leave but we will definitely be back and would highly recommend these apartments.
L	Lisa Robinson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely spacious apartment with a pool and mountain view, well looked after by the family who run Melissa, would happily go back again anytime. The restaurants in the old town are just lovely. We also hired a car and did some sightseeing.
M	Mark Pannell on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Melissa apartments were clean and spacious, the pool area was always clean and tidy with a good range of food and drink on offer, and the hosts, George and Ingrid were friendly and helpful with information about the area. Located in the old town area of Malia it is only a short walk to the local bars and restaurants and has a supermarket conveniently right behind the apartment. The beach is about a 15 minute walk and within easy reach.

Great pool and bar area and great location being a 2 minute walk to all the bars and restaurants. Will definitely be 100% returning in the near future

The common areas were very clean with an amazing big pool and excellent bar service. The apartments are closed to the supermarket and the beautiful old town of Malia! A must place to visit!
A	Andrea Whiteoak on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A fantastic holiday was had by us all. We had 3 adjoining rooms. They were clean and tidy, with little extras like hand sanitisers in all the rooms. The pool was brilliant and the pool area clean and tidy, with plenty of sunbeds. The staff were friendly and helpful and the owners went out of their way to help us. Drinks were reasonably priced and the few snacks we bought were good quality and value for money. We will be going back soon.
