Clean modern metro station, easy access at the lively neighborhood of Koukaki and to Siggrou Avenue.

Beware that the exit to Drakou str. has NO escalators so go to the Kallirois str. instead with the elevator.

A station convenient for the area of Koukaki, and Neos Kosmos as well (particularly, the subdistrict of Kynosargous, found on the East side of Syngrou-Fix station). It has a mini store into the station selling cosmetics, and in general terms you could say it's a pretty clean station. Near the station, you can find bus lines for the surrounding areas of Syngrou Avenue, Kallithea, Palaio Faliro and Nea Smyrni. Particularly, the bus lines 106, 126, 136, 137 and 910.

AVOID METRO, GOT THIEVES!!!!!!!!!!! MY FRIEND’S WALLET WAS STOLEN!!! There was a group we think, they first ask you to take care of your bag (to show some fake hospitality), we thought they were friendly. They were always smiling at you when you looked at them. All the fake tricks now we think about it!!!! It was very crowded. Then at the point of alighting from the train, they followed my friend and grabbed the wallet from his pocket. We only found out that after train went away... So there are mainly two thieves: one with height about 1.78, the other 1.7. Both thin. Neither looks local, both look middle eastern. The tall one has a weird mustache only on his philtrum (might be fake one)... and round eyes. When he smiles, he looks like a skinny monkey... the short one’s look is not so special, acts a bit like dumb... PLEASE HELP TO REPORT TO THE POLICE STATION IF YOU SEE!!! We reported them already! We are sure that the policemen thought it was quite normal to be stolen in Athens and we don’t expect they will put in any effort in helping to do the justice because we understand the cost of tracing them. However, if you do notice please report, we just wish no more people like us tourists will suffer from this unpleasant experience. We came to Athens to admire the ancient civilization, not the decay of the economy and the surge in crime rate. Now came to think of the idea of taking metro, we feel that it creates a perfect place for theft... the train opens and closes doors pretty quick, and it’s not possible to chase the train unlike buses... and metro always seems crowded... maybe avoid taking metro for central area

Easy to navigate

The staff in the ticket office were very helpful in obtaining our new Athena Personalized cards for month long unlimited service on the public transportation in Athens. There exists some confusion in the new program on how these cards are issued to foreigners, but the staff here was friendly and worked with us to make it happen. And since we speak almost no Greek, we especially appreciated their patience with us. A very nice welcome to Athens!

Just dangerous! My husband and me were visiting Athens for our honeymoon, and from the airport to the hotel we took the metro and our las stop was in this station. We were stolen! When the train stopped, two men blocked the door and we couldn’t go out, we tried to go out, but when I tried I had a man next to me trying to open my purse, the man talked to me in Greek but I didn’t understand. Finally, I was stolen, he took my wallet and ran by the electric scalators and I couldn’t do anything. Everybody saw the robbery and nobody help us! My first and last toma in Greek! I just I’m afraid to go out
