★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Το μοναστήρι βρίσκεται στο στάδιο της ανεγέρσεως στην τοποθεσία «Προφήτης Ηλίας», σε έκταση που παραχωρήθηκε από τον Δήμο Πορταριάς, με πρωτοβουλία του Δημάρχου κ. Βασιλείου Κοντορίζου. Ηγούμενος και πρωτεργάτης της ανεγέρσεως της Μονής είναι ο Αρχιμανδρίτης Αθανάσιος Κολλάς, ο οποίος ανέλαβε το δύσκολο έργο της ανέγερσης του νέου μοναστηριακού συγκροτήματος που θα περιλαμβάνει μεγάλο Καθολικό και συγκρότημα κελλιών για την μελλοντική εγκαταβίωση Μοναχών.
The monastery is under construction at the site "Prophet Elias", in an area granted by the Municipality of Portaria, on the initiative of Mayor Vassilios Kontorizos. Abbot and pioneer of the construction of the Monastery is Archimandrite Athanasios Kollas, who undertook the difficult task of building a new monastery complex that will include a large Catholic and a complex of cells for the future settlement of monks.

A very beautiful and special alone! The abbot is an exceptional and hospitable man who welcomed us and guided us even though he had to leave and offered us local products!
