Very nice place, good service and fresh food. We ordered the spicy pasta which was great, the salmon steak and pavlova for desert. Liked it a lot. The atmosphere was awesome

I took guests visiting Athens to the Stinking Bishop. It was not too crowded, so we decided to sit outside. The wine list had a good selection of Greek wine, although quite pricey for the offering. We chose a number of mezes and the seafood platter; this was a platter of shellfish. Upon asking the waiter what the platter consisted of, he replied "oysters, clams and that type of stuff"! I think a bit more training may be needed here. Our food was served and was of a good quality until a rotten clam was discovered on the seafood platter!! It was completely off. We called over the head waitress who took the rotten clam and said she would check with the chef and manager. Basically, she gave it to the barman who took it to the kitchen. She came to our table and then asked us if that was the only rotten one on the platter. At this point we completely lost trust in the food and it presented a very uncomfortable position for me in front of my guests. The complete inaction of the management, lack of basic hygiene checks before presentation, indifference of the staff and their overall attitude in handling this did not give us a pleasant experience. The head waitress then offered us, as a consilation, complimentary sweets; we then noticed this was offered to all the diners. Quiet insulting i thought. More disappointing was the fact that we were charged for the rotten food. Unbelievable!! I cannot recommed this restaurant, however, can recommend to them that they improve their customer service and food quality control.

Good food but totally overpriced, 70€ per person. My octopus was burned. The service and the environment were excellent

January 30, 2019 Tonight, my partner and friend Melissa and I had the pleasure of having dinner with our friend H, who obviously knows her way around Kolonaki and all the “hot” food places know her, am I surprised definitely not. H decided that it was time to go to the Stinking Bishop and she said we wouldn’t be disappointed. It’s better to go there either by walking or taxi, driving around looking for parking is not a good idea. We finally walked in 30 minutes late but we’re in Greece so it’s okay. Our friend was sitting comfortable waiting for us at the bar chatting away and having a good time. As soon as we walked in we sat down after hugs and kisses and decided we should have wine with our meal, my suggestion to you is if you travel to the same area often learn about the local wines you’ll be in for a surprise and a very pleasant one at that. We decided we’d start with a bunch of different appetizers, (I forgot to take all of the pictures,) and then we’d decide on entrees later. We ordered the fish ceviche which was mouthwatering, then came the codfish croquettes with an aioli sauce, duck boo buns and shrimp boo buns, followed by crispy duck, with hoisin sauce, scallions and the pancake to roll it like a cigar / taco. One word sums up the appetizers outstanding! As a side dish we had a traditional Greek salad san the onions. We decided one 2 pasta dishes to share one being Orzo with shaved truffles and the second was a tagliatelle with braised beef. The entrees were good but not like the apps. You could seriously make an amazing meal on apps alone. We finished up some assorted deserts that the restaurant sent over as the owner sat and talked with us. We were pleased enough with our meal that we had some clients in from London that went for dinner the following Sunday night that thought they died and went to heaven. All in all it was a great time for all, a solid meal with wonderful service and a new place to definitely go back to!

Fashionable restaurant offering good quality ingredients but poor execution and very high prices. Cacio e pepe was the best dish we tried, all other were salty and overspiced. After all, a restaurant is all about taste. Service was good, quick and kind.

New menu, not as great as the last one...having written that i havent been for nearly 3 years due to covid...SO: wine selection fabulous, empanadas PERFECT, calamari fine but what they were served with/on (some kind of pita bread with a mustard mayo sauce with olives? Not that great) Nevertheless fantastic location, great vibe and to be honest i didnt try the burger BUT IT LOOKED DELICIOUS ?

Shoddy service for that expensive a place. When you ask for a variety of cheeses to go with your wine and that is agreed to, do you expect to be served a full portion of every cheese (one of which tasted off) and be charged for it? And a couple of breadsticks to go with it to be presented as an amazing extra? And to be charged 3€ for non-bottled water? Don't come to this place.
